Located in Queens, NY, this application had many variables to contend with. The man who worked closely with this client was Robert Scarpa. Having years of experience in the construction field, he was able to work with all the other subcontractors during the site preparation process and while he was installing this custom application project.

As you can see, this pool site was in need of the attention that it was about to get. The pool was resurrected and once the patio was in place, Rob was able to schedule a delivery date for the enclosure.
The transformation of this pool site was well deserved and nicely done. Now it's time for the Roll-A-Cover project to begin.
After the enclosure was delivered to the site, each section had to be laid out and the panels were stacked so they wouldn't hinder this installation process. This was done because of the limited space that was available to them.
As the panels are being assembled, the end section is first to go up. After lifting the roof section and attaching the eave sections, the next step is the wall sections. This is a process for 4 to 6 people for safety purposes, but the process takes far less than you would expect. Remember, the majority of the work was performed in the plant. It's simply a big erector set on site.
The following section is now being lifted into place and so on....
As we continue the process.....
.....each side is lifted and each angled section is put into place.
The wall sections are put into place during this phase.
Another section up. It must be time for lunch....
All the sections are up and stacked.
This is a side angle of the enclosure with 42' in length stacked into an 8' section.
The end wall on the block wall side is being installed with the short gable section sitting on top of the wall.
This are is ready to accept the custom walkway which will allow the customer to have safe access from their home to their swimming pool which is about 30' away.
The walkway is being fabricated on site with exclusive Roll-A-Cover components.
Opened and happy, it's time to swim!
Closed and protected, this project's transformation has allowed this client to become our 2003 Roll-A-Cover Before & After contest winner. It's a project that has not only allowed this customer to have great pride in his home leisure space, but will always look to Rob and Roll-A-Cover as a company that stood by their reputation of being the most advanced retractable enclosure company with the highest level of expertise. How else could a project gain so much attention and be recognized as the Golden Roll Award recipient without being a model project.
This angle shot gives a great view of the vaulted enclosure that this client had us design for their site.
Looking straight down the enclosure, you can see the retaining wall which has a custom 3' wall built on top so that their east side of the yard can still receive natural light.
What a way to live! A beautiful retractable pool enclosure with a protected hot tub. Even when the enclosure is fully opened, the hot tub has a roof covering for any immediate weather change.
This is a custom connection with a standard walkway concept. This client wished to have access from their home to their pool, and with our lean-to components, our local dealer was able to provide this feature at an affordable cost.
This aerial view of the enclosure fully closed, shows the custom walkway and the enclosure's size. It's a beautiful project and the client has been nothing but excited and ready to show off his new Roll-A-Cover to his family and friends.
