They've added a mezzanine and a proper DJ booth;
and, in a stroke of genius, they want to install a
retractable skylight on the top level, to ensure
that theirs is an open-air bar when the weather

The
courtyard, with a retractable glass roof, was added
between the restaurant's horseshoe bar and its
catering hall to provide a place for patrons to
smoke without having to leave the facility. State
law does not allow smoking in a restaurant or bar.
In approving the change, Buckley said Wednesday, the
board members agreed the courtyard improved the
facility by providing a place for smokers, rather
than forcing them to hang around outside its
doorways. |
