The installation is about to
begin at the Colonnades Condominiums, located
directly on the beach in Alabama, and the project
managers take time to pose for a picture before the
work begins.
Here we see the pool before the
installation process starts
Here is a profile view of the
area the Roll A Cover will be installed on.
The pieces of the enclosure have
been taken off the truck and are brought to the base
of the deck.
This picture truly shows the
grand scope of this job and the sheer size of the
building this enclosure will be on.
The bays are beginning to be
lifted and are being put into place to be hoisted by
crane, onto the deck.
Ladders are put into place to
allow the installation staff easy access to the
track that the Roll A Cover will roll on
The side wall here is being put
into place and secured by a high impact, heavy duty
gusset.
The gusset is slid into place...
...and securely snapped into the
side wall
The crane has arrived to lift the
bays up onto the deck for the installation team.
More bays are lifted and
positioned for the enclosure by the installation
staff
Another bay is being ready to be
attached to the side wall
The roof and the wall sections
are snapped into place and secured with the gusset
A look down from the top of the
building below
The crane has been put into
action and starts to lift the bays up to the deck
Up up and away the crane goes
lifting the bays
Another bay is lifted up to the
deck section for the install team
Kevin, one of out plant
supervisors secures the bay to the track it is
lifted by the crane
Kevin takes a moment to pose on
the beach
More sections of the enclosure are lifted by the
crane
The enclosure is starting to take shape as bays are
fixed to the side wall.
Three bays have now been installed and the
telescopic nature of the enclosure is starting to
take shape
The enclosure is checked for stability by the
installation team and all parts are verified to be
working correctly
Yet another bay of the enclosure is listed up for
the installation team
The bays are installed and retracted to test the
full working range of motion of the enclosure
This is a close up view of the track system on the
wall that allows the lean to unit to roll with ease
The track is securely bolted into place and the
levelness is ensured
Here is a profile view of the side wall as the
enclosure is being put into place
The side wall is now completed
The other side wall is having
some finishing touches added
Here we see a top down view of
the enclosure as it is almost entirely completed
The enclosure is now completed
and we see it in its open state
and now we see it closed
A beautiful view of the side wall from the ground
looking up
Here is a spectacular view of the inside of the
enclosure as it is opened to enjoy the beautiful
view of the beach
The same view from the other side the enclosure
The pool has now been filled and
the enclosure is opened for all of the condo owners
to enjoy
The inside of the finished pool area with the
enclosure closed.
And finally we get to see yet
another top down view of the unit after being fully
decorated.
